Editorial Policy

Our Editorial Mission

Corporate entertainment is plagued by outdated tropes and empty promises. We cut through the noise. Corporate Magik Show exists to help event planners, HR directors, and corporate strategists find actual value in illusion. We focus entirely on strategic engagement. We do not cover children’s birthday parties. We do not review cheap novelty tricks. We cover high-stakes corporate magic.

Our editorial independence is absolute. We write for the people booking the talent and organizing the events. You need to know what works on a main stage, what fails in a boardroom, and how to spot a performer who understands corporate messaging. We deliver that reality.

How We Choose Topics

We listen to the friction on the ground. Topics come directly from the real problems event planners face.

We monitor the questions hitting our inbox and our YouTube channel. If an HR director struggles to integrate a mind-reading act into a quarterly review without it feeling forced, we write a guide on it. If a specific technical requirement for virtual magic shows is causing headaches across the industry, we break it down. We look for the blind spots in corporate event planning and fill them with operational facts.

We ignore passing fads. We focus on what drives actual audience engagement.

Research and Fact-Checking Standards

Magic relies on deception. Our editorial process does not.

We vet every single claim before publication. If we recommend a performer or a specific type of stage show, we verify their corporate track record. We demand references. We cross-reference client testimonials with actual event outcomes. We refuse to publish generic lists based on basic search engine research.

We watch the footage. We talk to the planners. We publish the reality.

When we discuss booking fees, contract clauses, or technical riders, we base our numbers on actual recent contracts. If a performer claims they can handle a crowd of two thousand people, we verify they have actually done it. We will not publish a recommendation without proof of competence.

Corrections Policy

We make mistakes. When we do, we fix them fast.

If we misquote a performer’s availability, misrepresent a booking fee structure, or get a venue requirement wrong, we correct it immediately. You can send corrections directly to [email protected]. We review all factual claims within 48 hours.

If a correction is warranted, we update the page and add a dated correction note at the bottom of the article. We do not make silent edits to hide our errors. Transparency builds trust.

Affiliate and Commercial Relationships

Trust requires absolute financial transparency.

We fund this site through select advertising, booking referrals, and affiliate links for event production gear. This monetization never dictates our coverage. If you click an affiliate link and book a service or buy a piece of AV equipment, we earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra.

If a magician pays for a sponsored slot on our platform, it is clearly marked as “Sponsored” at the top of the page. We reject paid placements that masquerade as editorial content. If a performer’s act falls flat in a corporate setting, we will not recommend them. Period.

Editorial Independence

Our editorial team answers to our readers. No one else.

Performers cannot buy a positive review. Event agencies cannot dictate our coverage angles. We maintain a strict, impenetrable firewall between our editorial desk and any commercial partnerships. You get our unfiltered, experienced perspective every single time.

If a highly-paid corporate act delivers a lazy performance, we will say so. Our loyalty remains strictly with the event professionals who rely on our advice.

Content Updates

Corporate event standards shift constantly. Stale advice ruins events.

We audit our core guides every six months. We check performer links, verify current booking rates, and update technical requirements for virtual or hybrid shows. If an act retires, changes their corporate offering, or rebrands entirely, we update the record to reflect the current reality.

We stamp every article with its last review date. You always know exactly how fresh the intel is. We refuse to let outdated information sit on our site.
